Sensei Mat Phillips is the main instructor at Archway Jiu-Jitsu club. He is a black belt (1st dan) and has been studying
Jiu-Jitsu for ten years.
 
He started training in Jiu-Jitsu whilst at university in Leeds, under sensei Tony Gill.
After graduating, he moved back to London, where he continued training at
City Jitsu Club under sensei Peter Hamer
before starting Archway Jiu-Jitsu club after qualifying as an instructor in 2004.

instructor at Archway jiu-jitsu club. She is a black belt
(1st dan) and has been studying jiu-jitsu for
six and a half years.
 
Before joining Archway as an instructor in August
2007, she trained at City Jitsu Club under sensei
Peter Hamer.
